The most amazing thing about Star Wars: The Clone Wars is that they managed to make a lulzy kid's show out of a war which is canonically long, drawn out, and bloody with hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of casualties, and which has to end with all the main characters dead, murdered, evil, traitors, brainwashed, or in hiding. So it's like, aww, this is adorable, and then you remember, "OH WAIT THEY'RE ALL GOING TO DIE WITHIN A YEAR BECAUSE THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A BACK-STABBING TRAITOR AND A MURDERER." (Or whatever their timeline is, I've just seen bits and pieces.)
