Feb. 19th, 2013 10:46 pmI am currently writing a chapter with NO DWARVES. Okay, two chapters simultaneously (I'm not entirely sure what's happening in either one -- I'm a little more sure on one than the other, so there's that), but still, neither of them have any dwarves. Given that I have basically been writing Narnian dwarves for the past two months, or been writing with an eye towards introducing them, this is very bizarre for me. (Don't worry, more dwarves coming up. I just have a couple of plotlines that don't involve dwarves and I thought that I should...you know...write them...)
One of these is apparently the chapter of fanservice. IDK, y'all, I write what's in my heart. And what's in my heart is this:
I swear it makes sense in context. Maybe. I don't know. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING still holds true for like ninety percent of my life right now.
ETA: Obviously I dealt with this problem by going back to write more dwarves. IDK, when in doubt, dwarves. Or whatever my brain wants right now.

Hands and wrists still messed up. I can't tell if my left wrist and hand are hurty because I'm trying to compensate for not using my right hand as much or if they're actually messed up too. I suspect a bit of column A, a bit of column B. That, and I'm trying to adjust the position my hands and arms are in as much as I can, so my body's a little confused.

Hobbit art recs! Again, randomly selected. (By the incredibly scientific process of scrolling through my Middle Earth folder and seeing what my mouse falls on. Or just remembering something awesome that I haven't saved.)

One of these is apparently the chapter of fanservice. IDK, y'all, I write what's in my heart. And what's in my heart is this:
Peter is stripped down to his lightest trousers, barefoot and shirtless in the throne room, and even here the thin cloth sticks to his skin, almost transparent with the sweat that rolls down the arch of his spine, the curve of his collarbone. He might as well be standing outside in the downpour; he’d be little wetter. He sweeps a hand through his damp hair, bound back from his face in a ponytail that keeps its length off his neck. When he wipes the perspiration from his face, his hand brushes against his short, neatly clipped beard.
I swear it makes sense in context. Maybe. I don't know. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING still holds true for like ninety percent of my life right now.
