bedlamsbardOuch, just realized that I've been having worse and worse mood swings throughout this entire trip. I have a tendency towards mood swings anyway (I tend to brush it off as being highstrung), but I'm operating at a high level of stress because being with my mom 24/7 is making me crazy and I'm going from "I know what I'm doing!" to "I am a failure at everything I do and ever will do" in about five seconds flat. Among other things.
I just want to not be with my mother for five or six hours, is that too much to ask? Will she just go on a tour without me or something? PLEASE? (I was complaining earlier on Twitter; I won't rehash it here.)
This is the kind of time when I really wish that my main reaction to alcohol wasn't annoyance. (Yes. It's annoyance. Either I don't react and get annoyed about that or I get dizzy and then I get annoyed because I'm dizzy. THAT'S IT.)
CUPCAKES TOMORROW OR BUST. (We're in York now. Yahoo!Mail seems to like York better, because my e-mail works again. I did get to see the Elgin Marbles, where I finally got to use my expansive expensive classics knowledge by monologuing on the Parthenon for half an hour to my mother.)
