Oh my God, the football game last night was crazy. The first three hours was, you know, average for a football: pretty boring for the average turtle. The last minute -- no, the last thirty seconds -- was fucking intense. First we got a touchdown and pulled ahead 27-23. Then -- then -- then this Viking hotshot got the ball and started running...and running...and running. And scored a touchdown with six seconds left on the clock. The entire Bulldog stands went dead silent. Then the screaming started.
"OH MY GOD, that did NOT JUST HAPPEN."
Now we're in a three-way tie for the third berth to state, and it's going to be resolved Tuesday with a Kansas City tiebreaker at East Valley, which isn't one of the three schools in the running. Neutral ground. This should be hardcore intense.
