bedlamsbardI have 8600 words of NaNo on my computer, and another 2000 handwritten -- I'm writing parallel stories, because I cannot, cannot write the same story both by hand and on the computer, not if I want to keep it straight. However, they do depend on each other, sort of; they'll intersect at some point in time, probably post NaNo, and they run a parallel timeline. Dangerous Heroes you've already heard about (that's the computer story). The other one is Strange Angels.
Also, what is basically the sum-up of the plot of DH: "And worse, magic wasn’t something you could take care of by putting a bullet in it, which was what X-3 had been trained to do back at Pariah. If you had no idea what it was and it seemed like it was trying to kill you, shoot it; if it twitched afterwards, shoot it some more."
Also, as usually happens when I'm trying very hard to write one thing, I now want to write more things. Specifically, UFF Reed/Johnny, the orchestra!Flack story, and for some strange reason, Blue Blood from the Bardverse. Not, however, Bloody Sunday. Sorry, guys, I think that's going on the "never again to be touched except with a flamethrower" pile. I can tell you what was supposed to happen, though, if anyone's interested.
