1. Lazarus. Pirates of the Caribbean/Supernatural, post-"All Hell Breaks Loose part 2." Two hundred years of hunting can make anyone dangerous -- and send a lot of souls to Hell.

One minute he was feeling out the marks, shotgun resting across his knees; the next he'd fallen forward, gasping blindly for breath and clawing at the earth, trying not to retch from the explosion in the back of his skull. The medallion swung wildly beneath his shirt, burning his skin every time it touched. Familiar laughter rode the wind and Will moaned, groping for the knife in his boot with his eyes shut tight against the pain. Cold iron, old iron, maybe enough with the cursed gold of the medallion to keep him safe until he got back to the protection spells on his car. He'd put too many souls in Hell to be sure of his own safety when a devil's gate opened, not until he could clear his head.

2. On the Other Side of the Looking Glass. CSI:NY, sequel to Still Life. Lindsay has to deal with the repercussions of her knowledge.

Flack is on his knees in front of Danny, teasing grin spread across his face, and Lindsay nearly has a heart attack before she realizes that he's in the wet concrete they've set up to try and identify their (nonexistent) body.

"Okay," Danny says brightly. "Just stay there for a while."

"Okay," Flack says back. "You wanna bring me a pizza or something?"

3. The Dead They Do Not Rise. CSI:NY/Supernatural. New York City doesn't need out of town hunters; it has its own and they never have to leave.

"They say Detective Flack went a little crazy after his wife died. Pissed off the fire department showing up at half their scenes and then he started getting a little weird here, too, at the NYPD. He used to work the freak cases, requested 'em special -- he'd show up at a crosstown scene before their Homicide even showed. The city finally pensioned him off when he got too crazy and too old. His kid works Homicide now, up with CSU in Manhattan, but Flack's got his head screwed on straight. He ain't crazy like his old man."

4. Fires on the Hearth. CSI:NY. The past always comes back.

Flakc was taking witness statements when one of the newcomers to the scene -- the crowd was growing larger by the fucking minute -- threw himself forward, arms closing around Flack's shoulders.

"I will be goddamned," he bellowed. "Donny Flack, as I live and breathe! Here we all were thinking you'd died or joined a circus band or something."

5. All the King's Horses. Supernatural/Drive. One thing in this world Dean's willing to die for and all they want is a illegal cross-country race? Hell, he's down with that.

Sam's gone when he gets back to the motel and Dean damn near tears the room apart even after the mess it's in, furniture broken and the bathroom door hanging off its hinges, thinking Christ now and fuck no and if that little bitch got his ass possessed again -- it all stops when he finds a cell phone tucked up in the weapons bag, right next to the holy water, and it's no phone he recognizes.





1. Flack went to college out of state and came back to New York because of his dad.

2. Danny and Flack are both Catholic. Danny's lapsed. Flack tries to make it to Mass every Sunday, but he misses it more often than not, and he's not really sure he believes anymore, but he keeps trying just in case.

3. Flack believes in ghosts.

4. Lindsay is the only daughter and youngest child out of a family of boys.

5. Flack killed a guy in the line of duty when he was still a uniform.

1. Okay, I've already seen this snipit, but god if it still doesn't get me every time I read it. Will, and the medallion, and gah. Also, the idea of Will Turner driving a car kinda cracks me up.

2. Oh. OH OH OH. Yes. Lindsay, and Danny and Flack and the maybe non-existent relationship and Lindsay watching and not sure what to think.

3. I think this just about gave me a heart attack. Oh, Flack Sr, and Flack Jr, and yes yes YES for NYC hunters, and ngh, yes. This also ties into your personal canon #3, because I heart you, Flack. Why do I get the feeling that he's just as "crazy" as his father, but he hides it better?

4. Huh. I'm totally curious as to what this is.

5. Again, one that I've seen the snipit from, but still HOLY CRAP this is the best crossover ever, and I love Dean's reaction to the road race, because he'd totally take part in it even if they hadn't kidnapped Sam!

1. I cannot for the life of me figure out what kind of car Will Turner drives. Oh, lord. I'm looking forward to writing this one. *bounces* As soon as I, uh, figure out a plot.

2. Oh, hey now, I didn't even put in the line where Danny tells Flack he's going to be missing the skin on his knees later. Yeah. That's when Lindsay decides it's a REALLY GOOD TIME to stop that particular conversation. Seriously, poor Lindsay; she's got no idea what's going on.

3. Well, #3 is, I think, actual show canon from S1 (the ep where the guy chewed up his hand? Oh, um, um..."Death Do We Part"? Is that right?). Would it help if, for this one, I added that Flack's mom burned to death pinned to the ceiling? *sweetly* This Flack actually doesn't do much hunting; New York's got pros for that sort of thing, but it doesn't mean he don't know the ropes.

4. This is the orchestra story. I think it might also be the companion piece to "Still Life" and "On the Other Side of the Looking Glass", but I'm not sure.

5. ...I JUST wrote this snippit. Also a bounce-worthy story, because I was going to play it during S2, but I think I can do it with the finale too. EXCELLENT.

1. Haha, I have this mental image of Will Turner, sort-of-pirate, driving around in a red minivan.

2. Poor Lindsay. Poor, poor her. Danny and Flack need to sleep together just so what she thinks is happening actually is happening.

... okay, that made more sense in my head.

3. Oh, I remember that ep, though I didn't remember the ghost comment. Poor Flack, and poor Flack's mother. Does this mean that Flack's got a cool shiny power, like Sam? Is anyone in the CSU actually a hunter?

4. Oooh, okay. I thought it might be, but wasn't sure and didn't want to say anything.

5. Um, you did? Because I've definitely seen it or something similar before, the last time you mentioned the SPN/Drive fic. Where Sam goes out to get groceries or whatever, and Dean finds the groceries sitting in the parking lot with the keys to the Impala in them, and Sam's no where in sight. I think he was taking a nap at the time, and someone broke in to plant the cell phone?

Putting it in with the finale would be fantastic and angsty, because it's Dean racing against his own clock, because he's got a limited time to live, and Sam's, because he already brought his brother back from the dead once.

1. ...oh my god, red minivan. He needs a car that is not an Impala (alas). Or a truck, I think. Maybe a truck? Not a truck. I know nothing about cars, seriously. And I can't wrap my head around "Will Turner" and "car."

2. I may be writing this just to fuck with Lindsay's head. Man, I have to figure out how to write UST.

3. I don't think he stated it outright, but it was implied, I think. I'm assuming Flack can do something, but I haven't figured out what. Maybe light stuff on fire? Mmm, I don't think so, just because that's too many people in one small space. I think most of the NYC hunters do it as a fulltime job, or do something where their friends don't, you know, have to arrest them.

...oh my God, AIDEN'S GHOST.

5. ...I don't remember? Dude, this would be so awesome to write, because Dean and Sam and Tully and Corinna and the Salazars! Hurrah!

1. He needs something badass. If he's immortal, than he'll have been around for ages, long enough to know about cars, to have gotten something totally kickass back when it first rolled off the line. I bet he named it something stupid, like Elizabeth, and he talks to it like Jack talked to the Black Pearl :D.

2. Fucking with Lindsay is, apparently, very easy to do.

3. Omg Aiden! I can imagine Flack knowing about her ghost, and choosing to exorcise it himself, rather than let one of the professional hunters do it, to sort-of honour her memory.

1. Ah, but he and Elizabeth have long since broken up. Um. It ended badly. (Again, the how depends on AWE.) But dude, he so totally talks to the car. Not a Mustang, Mustangs are cliche. And it's probably black.
