Yeah. High school and I are going one more round. God help me.

I'm actually pretty pissed off by the fact that my schedule isn't as hard as last year, just because of the required classes I've got all over the place (Foods, which is my occ. ed credit, PE, and Family and Consumer Issues). I'm also pretty amused by the fact that although my schedule isn't as hard as last year, I think I actually have more work, except that it's little fiddly work -- turn in such and such every week, write so many letters to politicians (argh, AP Gov), etc. etc. -- not the big chunks of projects and papers that made up my junior year.

My Foods class (God help me, I'd rather take a computer class) is mostly freshmen and sophomores; I was talking to a girl from Creative Writing Club and the fact that I'm a senior came up. Three people turned around and stared at me.

Yay?

My first day of school also involves running around and getting recommendations from teachers. OH JOY.

I can't figure out whether to ask my calc teacher or my AP history teacher for my second core rec. Maybe I'll just ask 'em both.

Which would put me at four recs: my AP English teacher and Creative Writing Club advisor, my band director (who I'm going into my seventh year with), and then Calc and History, both of whom have had me for two years. Well, two and one and a half.
