*snort* I'll be glad to get away from Ellensburg, that's for sure. (I have heard that one of the EHS grads -- class of '07 -- the one who went far, far away to Ithaca College in NY state is really homesick, and I feel bad for him. At least I had practice what with Stanford and Brown?)
(BTW, could you friend my alter-ego journal bardicvoices? I keep trying to do ten things at once and getting kicked off your journal. *wide eyes* All that's going to be on there is various bits of writing and writing-related notes.)
Thanks! *wide eyes* No, she's totally a leather girl.
I had it bad the first couple of days at Brown, but otherwise I was fine. It'll be interesting to see what happens when I'm gone for a couple months at a time instead of a couple weeks, though.
... see, I read that sentence, and totally did not think "leather girl" in a PG-13 or lower setting. Oh, fandom, look what you've done to my brain.
I think the internet makes everything so much easier. Emailing photos, chatting, just basic easy ways to keep in touch, and it makes the distance a bit easier to deal with.
