*haunted look* I'm starting to think it's a message from the universe to me to get off my ass and rewrite Snafu, but oh my God, the novel takes precedence.
*wild-eyed look* No, no, I cannot get bored with Spaceforce because I need this to graduate. I should actually go cancel all my ficathon commitments right now, because I'm really worried about getting distracted by something -- I mean, if I get distracted, I'm gone. I'll come back to it eventually -- ha, see "What is Lost" -- but this project's on a timeline, so I have to get it done, and if I get distracted, it won't.

Well, it wouldn't be such a big deal if I didn't need this to graduate. And, you know, the whole point of pushing it to be my senior project was so I could actually finish something.

I have this really horrible urge to make the story Beau/Shelton. Christ Jesus; I don't know who'd be more horrified: Beau, Shelton, or Cam. Drew would just be enormously amused by the whole thing.
... YOU SHOULD WRITE IT. Can you, like, write fic on your own novel? Even if you don't include it in the final novel, just seeing Cam's reaction would be awesome.
Half my novel is fic for it. That's why I have to step back and look at it from Beau's POV; I'm in too deep with the other three's heads. I already have a groundpoint for them; they're canon, more or less. Beau's...outside that. It's kind of psychologically complicated, but it makes sense to me?
