Oh my God, tears. Tears tears tears. Hyperventilation. Weeping.
Oh my God.
I was good for most of it, but when they locked down Hector's coffin -- that's when I lost it. And I started crying when they unfolded the flag.
But there was hyperventilation for a long time earlier. Hector's girlfriend collapsing on Tiffy. Grey and Hector's parents. Grey bashing the politician over the head! Ryan threatening said politician (what kind of bastard goes and says those things to a Ranger when he's wounded and has just had his best friend killed in action? What kind of suicidal idiot?). "He liked ice in his beer." Mack watching the autopsy. The bullet. Oh my God, the bullet. Jonas being the kickassest thing ever. (Seriously, the Winchester boys have nothing on him. Jonas would take them down.) Kim and the chaplain.
And then there was more hyperventilation. Oh my God, I can't even...most emotional hour of television ever, and I saw the Buffy ep "The Body." I just...can't even, you know?
And all through this my mom was going, "Are you sure you still want to join the military? Are you sure?" Yeah, mom. I'm sure.
Oh my God.
