bedlamsbardGeek moment of the night: Joe Morton, a.k.a. Henry Deacon from Eureka, on Numb3rs. (Apparently he was also in S1 of CSI:NY. Who knew?)
Got up at seven to go shopping, but alas, shopping in Ellensburg means going to Fred Meyer, which means that the selection? Not so much. All I wanted was DVDs, but none of the ones I wanted (a.k.a. Stargate) were on sale. Two day sale though, so you never know, I could still spring for some super cheap Buffy or Smallville sets. Let's not place bets anytime soon, though.
Why are things always on sale when you don't want them, and not a minute before or after. Stargate was on sale a couple months back, but that was before I got back into it. *shakes fist* Curse you, cruel world! Of course, it's not on sale anywhere on the web, either. I guess the question right now is, "How long will it be before Bedlam snaps and buys the entire collection?" I have the first two seasons; I want the last two seasons. And the ones in the middle, but, you know, nine and ten mostly, because Cam! I am not immune to the Browder.
Also, in other news, apparently I just turned Beau Lorne (my Spaceforce MC) into a girl. He'll, uh, get better? Sometime? Curse that horrible alien technology just lying around where any poor innocent little Ranger could touch it. How dare that happen!
In still other news: very behind on the whole NaNo thing. Creative Writing Club write-in on Wednesday helped me break 20K -- first time I'd ever been to the local coffee shop chain, I know, shut up, I don't drink coffee anyway and I'd better use up those gift certificates before I go to college -- but there was basically no writing yesterday or today; alas. At least they finally got off Earth in the main narrative, even though they're still in the Milky Way? They're about to leave the Milky Way very soon, though. Unless something goes wrong, which it should not, because that would be bad. Don't go wrong!
Thanksgiving: me, Mom, my cousin, and my mom's boss and his girlfriend. Unfortunately, everyone but me is Japanese, so Thanksgiving dinner was spent trying to decipher the occasional English words thrown into the Japanese. Not my idea of a good time.
