Jun. 27th, 2008 02:47 pmIt is sunny and warm. Frankly, I find this shocking, considering the fact that the past few days I've been having to wear jeans (normal summer wear, although I shaved my legs in case I want to wear shorts; let me just say that my legs are so pale they're probably reflective) and a sweatshirt to stay warm. Although, you know, my house is always freezing, but the fact I have my windows open in order to make it not freezing is something.
Also, I'm having dreams about sleeping through my first college class ever, and given the fact that it's June and I'm still in Ellensburg...I may be a little anxious. And I think I'm getting too much sleep; last night I went to bed at 12:30 and woke up this morning at 11:30. FOR SHAME, BEDLAM. FOR SHAME. WHAT THE HELL.
I am waiting for my knitting needles to arrive in the mail so I can finish the hat I'm knitting and start on, uh, Edmund's newsboy cap from Prince Caspian. *facepalm* Hey, I have the yarn, I will have the needles, I have a pattern I can alter (my pattern's for a cabled newsboy cap, but I don't want cables. Also, I can't cable), and I have the strong will of the fannishly obsessed! Together we shall conquer! Anyway, even if I fall out of love with the fandom (please no!), at least I'll have a cute hat.
Ahem. Still working on fic. Peter is...very young. And inexperienced. And, currently, completely screwed. This is like writing LWW Peter, not PC Caspian; there are fifteen missing years of experience! It makes a difference. I like it. Although when I started out writing this I thought they were older than they actually are, so I've got some character continuity errors I have to go back and fix, maybe; Edmund's a little too confident in command for a scared fourteen-year-old kid, even a scared fourteen-year-old king, especially compared to how Peter's acting at the same time.
