I have a nice 15K on "Be Like Water", so today is for homework and Dust. Let us see how much of my characterization I remember (considering the fact that Water told me kindly that in the Petaverse, things are Very Different), and then maybe y'all can judge who's more confused, Caspian or Tirian. Caspian's getting laid more, though. *grin*

All y'all (oh my god, I have been in the South for three months, what the hell) who said I didn't write enough Lucy? ARGH. I am not amused. This is neither Dust nor Water; this is the Telmarine skirmishes that followed the Belgarine wars during the Golden Age.

Well, it has kind of been a while since I did any Golden Age fic.

On the other hand, rock climbing Lucy for the WIN. And I guess I was wondering how Lucy was dealing with Peter coming back from Natare.

On the other, other hand (foot?), this is NaNo month! I was supposed to be working on exactly three things! Water, Dust, and my Narnia exchange fic! This is none of the above! Although I do want the rock climbing to feature in Dust somewhere, but that's not the point.

You know, the fact that all my Tirian chapters end up being completely talkyface is driving me insane. It can't be fighting all the time here, guys!

Well, I suppose I could have something attack, but that's not the point. Seriously, I swear to God they're leaving the friggin' woods at some point in time. End of this chapter. I just have to get them there first.

Also, for the record, Tirian's cousin is flirting with Peter, and Tirian's cousin may or may not look a whole lot like Jared Padalecki. (Vespasian: looks like a Telmarine. Tirian: looks like his grandfather's first wife, the barmaid he put aside for a political marriage. Who came up with that? It wasn't me. I want to credit you! Because everyone knows I like my angst in the past, present, and future.)
