All y'all (oh my god, I have been in the South for three months, what the hell) who said I didn't write enough Lucy? ARGH. I am not amused. This is neither Dust nor Water; this is the Telmarine skirmishes that followed the Belgarine wars during the Golden Age.

Well, it has kind of been a while since I did any Golden Age fic.

On the other hand, rock climbing Lucy for the WIN. And I guess I was wondering how Lucy was dealing with Peter coming back from Natare.

On the other, other hand (foot?), this is NaNo month! I was supposed to be working on exactly three things! Water, Dust, and my Narnia exchange fic! This is none of the above! Although I do want the rock climbing to feature in Dust somewhere, but that's not the point.

I'ved lived in the south for 34 years and still have my original accent, but I *have* picked up some vocabulary. What the hell, indeed...at least y'all is a useful word! Pretty soon, you'll be cuttin' on the lights and carryin' people where they need to go, and it's all downhill from there, bedlam! Avoid okra, ok? It's snot from the ground...*shudders*

The funny thing is that I picked up "y'all" a year ago, before I ever set foot in the South. Before I applied to Tulane, even. It is very useful! It has character!

Her reaction to Peter being back actually is pretty interesting, and I guess I did need to notice, but this isn't even a scene I can slot into Water or Dust! Since it's Golden Age.
