For some reason, I really want to write Peter/Susan right now.

(I have: one missing scene from Dust, about a chapter up from where I am right now, some less than subtextual subtext in Dust (guys. They wake up in bed naked together. There's kissing. There's Peter ogling Susan's tits. There's more kissing. I SWEAR TO GOD IT'S SUBTEXT), one werewolf!Pevensies first time Peter/Susan (this is complete, it just hasn't been posted. Should I post it?), Warsverse Peter/Susan post-swan princess first time that needs to be cleaned up and/or added to substantially, and about half of a Lucy POV follow-up to Truth No. 2.)

And then there's Dust, where the subtext takes the form of lines like these:

Handsome enough, she supposes, but she has seen Peter the High King and Edmund the King of Evening in all their glory; Calormen has nothing to offer to rival Narnia’s greatest kings. (cut scene, Dust 12)

It had been sweetsleep; she remembers the taste – she’d never had it forcibly administered to her, thank Aslan, but Peter had, and she’d tasted it in the dregs of his winecup all those years ago when he’d been sprawled out unconscious on her lap, his fingers curled in a death grip on the fabric of her skirt. (cut scene, Dust 12)

Peter doesn’t seem to notice and strolls past him. He and Queen Susan are holding hands, and Tirian sees the amusement flash briefly over her face before the expression fades away and she turns her head to her brothers’ quickly whispered conversation, listening gravely until Peter and Edmund turn back to them. (cut scene, Dust 5)

And then pretty much the entirety of Dust 5 and the second half of Dust 6. Dust 12 and -- 14, probably, or maybe 13, depending -- are looking to blow those two out of the water.

No, really, Dust is gen with heavy het, slash, incest, and threesome subtext. GEN. I SWEAR.

Anyway. Peter/Susan. Yeah.

Dust deleted/missing scene: Dust 11.5

I was debating whether to hold off on posting this now or after Dust 12 comes out, but at the rate I write, that could be tomorrow or three weeks from now, which isn't exactly a good window.

This was originally the first half of Dust 12, which is a Susan POV. It's been cut for several reasons, the majority of which boil down to it being unnecessary (it breaks one of my cardinal rules of multiple POVs in a single story) and far too cluttered. Standard disclaimer here applies: this is NOT part of Dust, parts of this can and will be reused in future chapters, nothing here is considered to be Dust backstory or canon.
