ARGH see, all my clothes are damp, and I probably should have jumped on the One True Dryer last night given the fact I was up till three, but I didn't think I was going to be up till three, so now I am wearing a skirt because skirts are the only pieces of clothing I have that are clean and DRY.

And it looks like it's cooler than I prefer the weather to be when I am baring my legs. *scowls horribly*

Okay, back to classes now. ARGH. (I mean, I could skip Natural Disasters to dry my laundry, but I don't particularly want to; that class is an hour and fifteen minute block of writing time!)

ETA: IT'S COLD OH MY GOD I WANT PANTS. (Okay, it's, like, 58 F, but still. And it's windy!) One more class, then I can stick my stuff in the dryer and switch to sweatpants.

Also, what is this, finish up fic in class day? Two. Two! I mean, one is a teetiny werewolf!Peter/Susan ficbit, but the other one is the WILL IT NEVER END Peter/Susan and Edmund and the Royal Guard fallout from the swan princess fiasco.

You know one of the things that amused me the most in Dust 12? The strawberries.

Dust 11:
“These are preserved strawberries, surely,” Leocadia says, reaching out and snagging the bowl by Tirian’s elbow. “The first shipment from Galma should have come in last week!”

“We did not receive any, my lady,” the maid says.

“This is ridiculous!” Leocadia protests. She turns to Tirian; the maid takes the opportunity to escape. “Do you see this, Tirian? The castle takes in most of what should go to the people of Cair Paravel; this would never have happened when you sat the throne.”

“There are greater things to worry about than fresh strawberries, Leo,” Tirian says. “And be glad you have these: I haven’t even seen more than a dozen strawberries in the past five years.

Dust 12:
“Do try the plum liquor,” Bahadur says, motioning towards the purple stuff in her glass. “It’s quite good. And the strawberries. It’s not the season for them yet, but we have them imported from Galma, where spring comes more quickly.”

“Yes, I remember,” Susan murmurs. She does try the strawberries, and gods, but they’re good; it’s easy to forget, eating scanty and makeshift as they have been, that Narnian food is a thousand times better than anything in England.

Susan's also eating strawberries throughout most of that scene.

Look, I'm easily amused, all right?

Werewolves later.

I meant to have this up earlier today, but Tulane was exhibiting its usual UberFail and so it took about an hour longer to get our rooms for next year than we expected. But we have rooms! I'm in a four-person suite with three of my friends. And...then I had to go to class.

So: werewolf!Pevensies, set shortly after this; only Peter is wolfified. Peter/Susan.

he comes back after nightfall )
