(no subject)

My Victorianism prof moved the due date on the research paper back a week! It was due Friday and I had all of a paragraph written and about a third of my research books read and I was panicking. (In a very calm, measured way, as I am wont to do.) Partially because I also had a million other things to read (including friggin' Paradise Lost, for the fourth time. That, I more or less just skimmed, since it was only the first four books, and I nearly have those memorized. I know the events I have memorized; I can't quite quote it from memory, but give me another two times reading the thing and I will.)

I can afford to take a few hours today and not do anything. Then go back to the reading frantically part. (I am finally getting really good at skimming for relevant words or phrases and disregarding the rest.) I could...work on Dust. *bug eyes*

There is actually a (vaguely) definite plan for Dust. There's a good break point several chapters down the line, so I'm going to try and get there, then break to put Water together and put that up.

I know. Water. Been a while, hasn't it?

Someone kindly do me a favor and remind me that if you haven't been screwed up by your parents somehow, then you're not human.

ETA: And while we're at it, that failing a class just to spite my parents is not the thing to do. (Although. I may be failing it anyway.)
