Huh. Golden Age Narnia has an impartial jury system for anything except high treason. Curiouser and curiouser...
That said, I am resisting the urge to write a potboiler about Edmund tracking a spy ring through Cair Paravel. Despite the fact that It Would Be Fun. It starts with the murder of one of the spies we met in
The White City and escalates from there.
Also the story where Peter and Susan are up in the northern marshes and we get to meet the Golden Age marsh-wiggles and the Bog People. Also, I think salt may be involved somewhere. I'm holding off on even poking more at this one because I need to do research on marshes.
Meanwhile, there's Dust, which is going slowly if only because I'm handwriting at the moment -- mostly so I can write and watch TV at the same time. I'll switch back to typing at some point in the near future. Jill's kind of an interesting narrator; I'm not sure how I feel about her. It's interesting writing someone who's not at the top of the food chain, because it goes back to the outsider POV I used to do a lot with Golden Age fic.
Also, at some point I expect betrayal.
