britpick question

(aella_irene, I know I asked you this a couple of months ago, but I have since lost the e-mail.)

If someone is saying that they're skipping PE class, what would be the proper phrasing for it? Right now I have, “I went to Experiment House, remember? Nobody cared if I skived off gym.”

*sighs*

Clapotis is going beautifully, or at least it would be if I wasn't very aware that I'm going to run out of yarn before I finish it, and the yarn (All Things Heather hand-dyed sock yarn) I'm using isn't available online anymore, let alone in the colorway I'm using (Sherwood). (And I checked Ravelry, no one has it to sell or trade, either.) (According to the website, my LYS doesn't have it either.) So I'll see how far I can get with the remaining yarn, then rip it out and either cast on for something else, or try Clapotis again, only smaller. This is depressing; I'm really liking this pattern. I just dropped my fourth column!

(On the other hand, I should have checked the yardage requirements going in, and I'm working on size 3 needles when the pattern calls for a 6. I'm not the brightest, y'all.)
