Jun. 30th, 2010 02:06 pmOh, joy, I did get dropped from the Honors Program, although I think my GPA is high enough that if I ask very nicely, I may be able to remain. The cut-off is a 3.6; my cumulative GPA is a 3.572. That sounds close enough, right? The example they use in the e-mail is a 3.589, but a 3.572 should be close enough, hopefully? The two reasons I am really, really concerned about remaining in the Honors Program are (a) grad school and (b) all the cool classes are Honors, including Greek and Roman Magic, which I hadn't registered for yet and therefore cannot register for if I'm not in the program, since I can't specifically e-mail the professor because there is no professor listed. (Also, yes, I can't add it, I just tried, and now I hate the entire world.)
Now I must figure out how to phrase the e-mail. God, I hate everything right now, I have a geology test tomorrow and Latin homework tonight and I do not want to deal with this. I'm tired, and I'm stuck on campus, and my cousin may or may not be pregnant, and tomorrow I have lab which means I probably won't be home till 5:30, and I hate everything.
Do summer classes count towards your GPA? Like, could I use that as an argument? Because I'm definitely going to get an A out of Latin, and a B or an A in Geology. (At this point, I will get an A in Geology if it fucking kills me, which it may, from boredom. God, I should be studying right now.)
