LATIN IS AWESOME. *cough* It is even more awesome when we happen to be translating dumbed down versions of actual Roman Latin (Cicero denouncing Catiline, in this case) instead of the bits that just make you learn the grammar, i.e., "He gives this to her by means of you."
I wonder -- I have a full schedule right now, but -- I wonder if I could ask someone in the Classics Department to do 102 as an arranged study? Or even not for credit -- so I could jump into 203 in the spring, because I'm worrying about not having enough Latin to get into graduate school. I do have the time, in theory. Although I'm not sure who I'd ask; I know a fair number of the classics professors, but not the ones who teach 101 and 102.
