And summer term is over! Except I am still stuck on campus because the transmission in the Idiot Ford is dead, caput, and what I have learned from this experience is never ever buy a Ford, which I already knew (THE FORD CURSE OMG THE SUBARU WAS EVEN HIT BY A FORD RANGER, FORCING US TO BUY A FORD CONTOUR NEVER AGAIN FORD STANDS FOR FIX OR REPAIR DAILY), but anyway my dad is still here, so I will print some knitting patterns, check out a book or two, then go home with him in the (omg Ford F-150 truck), since I am not comfortably driving the Toyota 4-Runner. It is all Japanese cars from here out, man.

I think my favorite comment to that post is this one, though: "even when he has a wand, sometimes he just PUNCHES DEATHEATERS IN THE FACE."

I think I have to go dig up some old HP fanfic and reread it. Of course, my favorite HP fanfic is no longer online, but I HAVE CLEVERLY PRESERVED IT against the tides of time and authors going pro. Although, you know, I have to add that my favorite Marauder was always James (it is always the dead tragic ones with me, always!) and my HP OTP was Sirius/James unto eternity. Like I said, always the dead tragic ones. (OH ANAKIN AND OBI-WAN the nostalgia is strong with me today, apparently.)

One guy in my geology class has been slowly working his way through HP throughout the term. It always made me happy when I came into class and saw him with one of the books. I've been meaning to reread for a while now...

Knitting baby booties (Ravelry link) for my pregnant cousin. Well, her baby, obviously; it is (second?) cousin to a knitter; it shall be a warm baby! OMG, are babies' feet really that tiny?

Oh, heeeeeey, the Dizzy Sheep's Dizzy Deal for today (tomorrow) is on Plymouth Baby Bunny. Maybe I'll order some! OMG, look at this rabbit, so cute, omg. If the baby cousin does not want a knitted bunny rabbit, I want a knitted bunny rabbit.

And speaking of rabbits, tonight was Alice in Wonderland night! And now I want Alice/Hatter fic, yes? Or possibly Alice/White Queen, but mostly Alice/Hatter.
