...wow, weird thoughts there. Nervous breakdowns born out of wedlock!
Er, no, last week's nervous breakdown was because I hit a car in the Fred Meyer parking lot and someone called the cops on me, which...I don't know, seems somewhat less pathetic than crying over band frustrating and the worst AP teacher ever.
What? Cops? Oh dear. :/ No, that's -- I could actually see more having a breakdown over band and moronic AP teachers. (this would be the -- government guy, I presume?) Band and teachers seem more -- relevant, important, day-to-day people and things.
Didn't get charged with anything, thank God. (Sometimes it helps to be a crying seventeen-year-old girl.)
It's just that -- those are the sort of things that have been building up for a long time, so it's a pressure cooker, but some things just hit you, and so -- there's nothing else to do? Something like that, anyway.
The problem comes in that I hit the car, checked that there wasn't any damage, and left without leaving a note or anything. So it was, um, technically a hit and run. The car belonged to someone who worked at the high school and has two daughters my age, though, so...that worked out well, I guess.
That was a really horrible weekend. First my nose, then that, then I had to play a concert when I was still shaking really badly because oh my god cops, then I skipped out on the jazz band Christmas party (my last one ever!) because I was an emotional wreck, then the next day I couldn't find my keys to go to a movie (the high point of the weekend), and my Christmas tree collapsed!
