I love footnotes more than most things. FOOTNOTES + BEDLAM = OTP.
(Some of my friends -- okay, most of my friends -- come from disciplines that don't use footnotes. (One's English, one's psychology.) I don't understand how they survive! They think I don't write as much as they do because I don't do in-text citations and thus use up more page space on footnotes and footnoted citations, and thus don't have to write as much. I may not end up writing as much on a single paper, but I'm still pretty sure I write more papers than they do, bah.)
Although. I'm pretty sure I should go write the rest of the body of the paper now, seeing as I probably shouldn't carry out my entire argument in footnotes. However, right now: lunch.
