I got into the archaeology summer program I applied for! (Four weeks at Cambridge for the British Archaeology Summer School. That is in ENGLAND, people. If you are English, this is probably not as exciting, but to us Americans, it is EXOTIC.)
The bad news is that, um, I'm still not sure it's a wise choice. I should run dates and also ask every professor I know what their opinion is.
(Also, it starts on the Fourth of July. I understand that in the rest of the world the fourth is just a Monday, but you know, national holiday here, so for whatever reason the idea tickles me.)
Oh, that's what ACE stands for -- Association for Cultural Exchange. I was wondering.
