Nov. 26th, 2011 07:33 pmSo I fell hip-deep into fic again the past couple days thanks to
seperis's Big Bang Theory Sheldon/Penny rec list, which is lovely, and I cooked a lot and baked a lot and ate enough and slept enough and watched a lot of Food Network, except for today, all of which are lovely, except for how I still kind of haven't really worked on my thesis, which, uh, I was supposed to be doing all vacation. (I read things, but only two, and that does not exactly get me a chapter by Monday. Tomorrow will get me a chapter by Monday! And all my advisors know I'm trying to turn one around really fast on a changed topic, so it probably gets to be crappier than they might otherwise expect.)
Anyway. I do need to do my Latin homework so I don't end up doing it at eleven-thirty tomorrow night in a fit of rage at its existence, and I'm trying to figure something to put on as background noise. I've been working through Eureka again, but I've been feeling an itch for Firefly (which I'm not in love with; I'm not even sure I like it half the time) and I kind of want to give Dollhouse another try, if only forHelo Tahmoh Penikett, even though I hated Dollhouse.
Also if my father asks me about graduate school again, I may hang up on him. I KNOW MY DEADLINES. STOP NAGGING ME. I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO STRESS OUT ABOUT THAT ARE DUE MUCH SOONER.
Tomorrow I need to orgnaize the fridge (read: get my stuff off other people's shelves), make more chicken pocket pies, organize my pantry, and write my chapter.
Today I discovered that left to my own devices, I will eat a normal breakfast at the kitchen table with a book and it will make me (a) really calm and (b) really happy.
