Best/most random/nerdiest plot bunny ever (though coming from me, this doesn't actually say much). Telmarine Narnia pre-LB/Tirian, a statue comes up on the art market, marketed as a Golden Age or post-Golden Age sculpture, though who really knows since it's the art market (a.k.a. could be a forgery, could have come from grave robbers, there's no archaeological context) it is bought by a museum or a university or a private owner or something, AND THEN it turns out to be a statue-ified Narnian from the Long Winter who somehow gets made...er, not a statue again. AND THEN THERE ARE SHENANIGANS. (Can you imagine waking up and finding out that you missed the end of the Long Winter, the downfall of the White Witch, the Golden Age, the thousand years in between, the Telmarine Conquest, all that?)
Brought to you by my Greek Art & Archaeology class and my prof making snide comments about the art market. (She's an archaeologist, so...yeah.)
