The most amazing thing about Star Wars: The Clone Wars is that they managed to make a lulzy kid's show out of a war which is canonically long, drawn out, and bloody with hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of casualties, and which has to end with all the main characters dead, murdered, evil, traitors, brainwashed, or in hiding. So it's like, aww, this is adorable, and then you remember, "OH WAIT THEY'RE ALL GOING TO DIE WITHIN A YEAR BECAUSE THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A BACK-STABBING TRAITOR AND A MURDERER." (Or whatever their timeline is, I've just seen bits and pieces.)

Have found rec list (DW post) from back in the days before delicious, which includes (a) stuff I never bookmarked on delicious and (b) the fic that was driving me crazy trying to find because I hadn't bookmarked it.

It's sort of weird looking at this rec list, because some of this fic is no longer online because the authors have gone pro. (The Draco Trilogy, Underwater Light, Quality of Mercy, and so on.)

Thank the gods that I made rec lists back in the day, I'm just saying.

I, uh, appear to have started another Star Wars genderswap AU. I'M SORRY, OKAY. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S COME OVER ME.

(This one has lady!Obi-Wan and boy!Anakin. Look, I have to amuse myself somehow, okay? I'm sure I'm somehow trying to work my way 'round to an original with a pair of mains that are not two men and I'm just trying to figure out which way I like 'em.)
