I have a letter. I named it S. I must come up with 10 things I like starting with the letter S and one thing that I don't like. Comment and I will give you a letter.

1. Spaceforce. Which is not, you know, the final title of my novel, but it's been the Spaceforce novel for the past year or so, and I obviously like it enough to have not hacked it into a thousand shreds yet.

2. Stargate. Atlantis and SG-1. They're so shiny.

3. Space: Above and Beyond. Because it's sci-fi, and it's military sci-fi, but it's one of the grittiest versions I've ever seen. And it was good, and I'm sad they cancelled it.

4. Supernatural. I haven't seen the third season, and the first season is still my favorite, but come on, ducks, it's Supernatural. Shiny.

5. saxophone. Which I play, you know.

6. sleep. Which I clearly don't get enough of.

7. ships. Now, I'm not joining the Navy, but there's something about ships, you know? They've got that air of being just on the edge of reality, living between two worlds, water and air, and just -- you know. *waves hands*

8. superheroes. It's not the super part that's so interesting; it's how they deal with it. If they can still be ordinary people, or...not.

9. Scott Summers. Favorite X-Man! It's the boy next door thing, I think.

10. summer. Especially right now. At least it's springlike, if not actually spring.

dislike, 1. school. But mostly because it never ends, right now.
