WTF, CBS?

Right, that's it, CBS is officially on crack and should die a long and painful death. I can deal with the new medical examiner. I can - just barely - deal with the new lab, so long as they explain it.

I CANNOT DEAL WITH THE NEW CSI.

She sounds like a Mary Sue. Her name is Summer. SUMMER. No wonder Mac is dubious about taking her on. One new character is enough, please. On the behalf of a neighbor of Idaho, I would also like to add that not all people from the Pacific Northwest are blond-haired and blue-eyed, blabbermouths, or Midwestern. Also, Idaho is not in the Midwest, it is in the Pacific Northwest.

Blond, blue-eyed, blabbermouth, from Boise, Mac doesn't like her, female - can you say Mary Sue? I can.

*tired* I don't want new characters. I want the same normal characters that we had last season. Now, I don't watch most TV and I sure as hell wasn't watching CSI or CSI: Miami when they started out, but I don't think they added TWO new regulars to the show in the second season. Don't think so at all.

Also, CBS? When you're trying to be subtle about "lightening up" a show (not that it needs to be lightened up) - don't add a character named Summer. It's not subtle, it's like being hit by a bus.

...please let her die, quickly. And please don't let her be a love interest for either Mac, Danny, or Flack, because if she is I'm leaving the fandom. And I'm not kidding.

*weighs CBS vs. Mac Taylor on the moron scale*

CBS wins. Mac Taylor can't screw up his entire show.

Er. I may be taking this too personally.

Ah yes. Forgive my insular geographics.

Er, I think it is, anyway. Don't take Pacific Northwest History till next year, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Right. I mean, as much as New York is like, the whole immigrant, start new life, wonderfully quintesstially "american" city, it *is* it's own place. It has vernacular and its personal horde of possessive natives, to say nothing of their police department being *huge* and famous and infamous and insular in its own ways all at once.

Yeah, and the whole immigrant this is, well, pretty much over. Well, I mean, it's not, but New York has its own people. Leave the place to its people, please. Or if you have to add someone from out of the city, make it some ex-wannabe movie star that joined the cops for the heck of it.
