I'm dubious about one thing and one thing only: no Rachel Weisz, and we don't see much of Maria Bello in the teaser, so there's no way to tell if she can fill Weisz's capable shoes. On the other hand, I love The Mummy; it's easily one of my favorite movies of all time, and I'm excited to see it returning. I liked The Mummy Returns, too. I hope this is good, and the teaser has me hopeful because, I mean, come on, it is cheesy action/adventure pseudoarchaeology, which we've...all established is one of my favorite things. (Hello, Stargate. Hello, gentleman's adventure novel which I may eventually write. Hello, Indiana Jones.)
I am desperate to see Prince Caspian, desperate I say, but I didn't see it yesterday because I had Creative Writing Club and can't see it today because I have Prom and my hair's all made up pretty, so it'd be a little awkward in a movie theatre. Tomorrow, maybe, depending on how late I'm up tonight and how incoherent I am tomorrow -- I still have to do my journals for English.
