I, um, sorry? (Hey, on the bright side, this fic probably isn't going up for another week, because I have to finish writing Lucy, write poor confused Caspian, then going into editing hell because it all has to line up.)
Well, I *knew* it was somebody wise and wrinkled. What the hell did Miyagi say then? It was a very long time ago that I (regrettably) say the Karate Kid...something about getting smashed if you walk in the middle of the road? Whatever.
You didn't miss anything! It was one of those "big" releases that you look back on and realize what crap it was. The actors were fine, but the script kinda sucked.
But that's where "wax on, wax off" comes from, if you've heard that.
