Are we at a point where I should put up a timeline, character chart, and glossary, or would that just be overkill? (Because I have the first two, although I need to add stuff to them, and figure out when certain things happen in the timeline.)

"On a Summer Midnight" is currently at 4,719 words, and I have high hopes of it being shorter than Peter's story, which is currently the shortest. (And I cut out a lot of the extraneous repeated dialogue that's in Edmund and Susan's stories in this one, too, which I have to do in edits for the other two.)

I dunno, are we? Your previous fics read fine on their own. What does your beta say? What is this 'In Constellated Wars' on about? I thought it was Golden Age but now Caspian's all mixed up in it.

My beta is away from her computer right now. *grin* "In Constellated Wars" is a missing PC scene, told five tiimes from five different POVs (the Pevensies and poor, poor confused Caspian).

(If I could draw, I would totally do maps, because I made up the entire western border of Narnia. Um. Canon and I have a, uh, fluid relationship?)

Lewis wasn't trying AT ALL. And fanfiction has spoiled me -- I want details and stolen moments! -- though I guess in an alright way, because if I were seeing what Narnia is instead of what Narnia could be, well. Wouldn't be here. Actually I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the actors being SO DAMN PRETTY but, uh, one thing led to another. So!

That's what it is about most fandoms, I think: the holes, the things implied, the untold stories. (I completely and totally blame the cave art and the illuminated books in PC for my entry into this fandom. It seems more respectable than, "OMG PETER," somehow.)
