Because I refuse to look at "In Constellated Wars" for at least twenty-four hours, and because I'm working on a Golden Age slice-of-life fic (Peter: really stressed out despite everyone's attempts to make him figure out that he doesn't have to do everything. We can tell that this story takes place early on because he hasn't learned how to delegate yet. Although he's not a virgin anymore, and wow, you guys really didn't want to know that, did you?).

So! Y'all know the five things drill, and for some reason I can't find a good root version of it to post here -- you know, ask me five things about my characters/fic/'verse, same old, same old. I will do other fandoms -- my fandoms are anything vaguely fandom-shaped on my tags sidebar -- but my preference is for Narnia.

Well, Glozelle's not the one in charge, Miraz is, and he has to do whatever Miraz orders.

HA! Like the rebel Narnians did? Like Caspian did? Hmph.

1) Glozelle tortures Edmund in the dungeon for information.

2) Glozelle engages in a little molestation, since he's being kept chained up in the guest suite and all. *smothers grin*

3) Glozelle has some soldiers loyal to him stage a fake raid on the camp so they can let Edmund "escape" in the confusion.

4) Glozelle lets him go, outright, because parley is parley, and takes the hit for it. Miraz *might* not kill him, since he seems to value the man's skills and loyalty; but he'd probably beat him half to death.

5) Glozelle kills him quickly and quietly to prevent any rescue attempts or rumbling from the troops about breaking parley, and sends the body back to Peter to make sure he knows (in the oh,so false belief that this will prevent anything).

5. And then Peter sneaks out of the How and engages in a little breaking and entering action in the camp -- setting the horses loose, destroying everything he can get his hands on, and kills Glozelle in his tent and throws the body out as the camp burns around them.

Peter would do that in *any* of the scenarios.

The only difference would be how much damage Edmund would have sustained before it happened, and how much damage he helped Peter inflict, after. *snerk*

Of course, he'd do the same thing for any of his siblings; it's just that Edmund gets into trouble more easily than Susan or Lucy (although he'd deny it, of course).
