Let's all be terrified by the fact that I've now opened a KeyNote folder for my Narnia notes.
No, seriously. If you saw my notes for my original novel, be terrified.
Country: Anskettell
Capital: Hroskuld
Ruler: Konungr Finnulf Durinson, of Clann Einar
More a confederation than a country, Anskettell is located at the most southerly tip of the continent, where the people are as rough and rocky as the land. Five territories make up Greater Anskettell, each one ruled by a king, all five of which bend the knee to their high king, or Konungr. Anskettell is known for the wool made from its sheep and goats, and for the koboldwork metalcraft made from the kobolds that share the country with the humans. The country is even more well-known for its sea-folk and their longships, which are dreaded across the Great Eastern Ocean and the Sea of Stars in the west. Some fight as pirates, while others hire out their services; Ansketts ships and seamen are much sought after. After Narnia defeated Masongnong at sea in the second year of High King Peter's reign, Anskettell allied with Narnia and they have been peaceful friends ever since.
