*head to side* I am not certain if it's a suitably Peta-like song, but it's close.

I think the *song* is, but the title doesn't immediately come across that way, devoid of context.

*stares at Petaverse playlist* (YES OH MY GOD I KNOW. Playlist does not mean writing.)

No titles. Plenty of songs! (Mercy Bound (http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/j/joan_baez/mercy_bound.html), Joan Baez. Take Me Home (http://www.metrolyrics.com/take-me-home-lyrics-thea-gilmore.html), Thea Gilmore. Twist (http://www.lyricsdownload.com/i-am-kloot-twist-lyrics.html), I Am Kloot. These Days (http://www.elyrics.net/read/b/bon-jovi-lyrics/these-days-lyrics.html), Bon Jovi -- Peter and Peta! Or, alternately, Peter and Susan in the immortal!Susan 'verse.)

what about a line from a song that's not it's title?

"Don't chase ghosts"
(Chasing ghosts?)

"No Way Home", but that could be a bit melodramatic.

I like the phrase "Between the Merry-Go-Round and the soldiers of sound", but I don't know if it fits at all.

"Twisted on destiny". I really like this one, although 'Fate and three wishes" might work too.

Nothing from "these days" really jumps out at me...

I just want a certain kind of feel for the title, and nothing's jumped out at me. (And yeah, I'm happy to steal lyrics and verses of poetry right and left, but nothing's jumped out at me so far.)

My playlist, at this point, is made up of three parts: Peta/Caspian, Peter/Peta, and the songs that vaguely fit but haven't been placed yet. *sigh*

Until it has a title, it is just a hallucination! This is true. (This is why I have a couple WIPs with titles that do not fit any more -- "Till Human Voices Wake Us" and "The Eldest Bond" are two of them. And "The White City" is still saved as "Invisible Cities"; I changed the title at the last minute. *frowns*)

Hmmm. Maybe I can do something with the fact that Peta is never a POV character. (It's Caspian first, then Peter, and if we go to a part three it will probably be Caspian again. V.3.0 Caspian, obviously.) Huh. Maybe "Be Like Water" works in that sense.

Yeah, I noticed that- the whole thing is about Peta, she comes across so clearly, but it's never from her POV. It's interesting...

And I have no real urge to write anything from Peta's POV either...
