Aug. 4th, 2005 07:12 pmDude, Stella kicks total ass. You have to love a woman who looks Society in the face and starts talking about triple homicides.
Why yes, I have been working on Black Monday, why do you ask? I think I'll call this segment "Meet the Taylors, Extended Edition," because we're not just talking the Taylor parents here, we're talking extended family. Like Great Aunt Beatrice and Uncle Everett. Which I would post if I didn't have, you know, dinner right now and no time to type part one (probably of two) up.

Date: 2005-08-05 11:29 pm (UTC)The gun she carries and the fact she'll use it?
And, oh, Mac, you and your batshit fucking crazy family.
Oh, you have no idea. We're talking about the woman who looks at Mac and Stella after hearing they're not married, and goes, "Maclarin, you don't mean to tell me you've been living in a state of sin with this young lady?"

Well. Jesus. Count the things wrong with *that* statement right there, huh? Oh, god. I'm thinking Stella only doesn't pummel her 'cause Mac's there.

Date: 2005-08-06 12:56 am (UTC)Well, no, but sometimes it leads to bureaucracy and reports and officer-involved shootings investigations, and we all know how Stella feels about those.

Well, that and the fact she's a ninety-year-old lady. We're talking Mac's Great Aunt Beatrice here, not his mother. Although she's not particularly keen on Stella herself. That's okay, Stella doesn't like her either.

Ahhhhhh. Okay. That makes more sense. (Hold on then. How... *thinks* nevermind. I'm not so much with math.) And yeah, I can't imagine Stella taking a liking to anyone in that family with Mac sitting next to her being eight.
