You ever get those days where you stare at your characters and go, "I have no idea what crack you're on, but it's clearly the good crack, so why the hell aren't you sharing?"

Yeah. One of those days. Everse Peter has informed me that only three of the four thrones at Cair Paravel are filled, the White Witch is still alive and at large (though probably not in Narnia), and that Lucy not only betrayed them, but is still with the White Witch.

Yeah. One of those days.

ETA: Oh, look. Plot. *files away*

Wow! That's kinda awesome. Does this mean you're thinking of writing this?

And I love the imagery of Peter *informing* you. As if he handed in a memo- "Just FYI author lady..."

I am not even thinking of starting anything new and novel-length till after Dust is finished, let me tell you.

He pretty much did. I was all, "ahahahaha, Peter in the henhouse with his three sisters," and he looked at me, raised his eyebrows, and went, "What do you mean, three?" and scowled a lot.

Haha!

I love Dust so I do not mind that you finish writing that. But fic bits from Everse won't be bad either *Grins*

The thing is that I kind of despise origin stories (who wants to see them when they're boring and ordinary and wondering what in hell is happening? Let's see them when they've got a little goin' for them!), so I'd have to figure out how to get all the backstory across from four or five years down the line. And the more intimate details of the plot. And what the backstory is.

Yeah, I can see how that's gonna be tricky. And lots of work.

And I agree that writing about when they're eleven is boring.

If it gets a title, then we'll know I'm screwed. (Oh, lord, I'm going to be known as the girl who wrote girl!Peter, girl!Edmund, Peter/Narnia, executions, and RANDOM OTHER CRACK.)

Oh and what the hell did Lucy do! Did she do it on purpose? Is she kidnapped? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

It's a two-fold AU, like "Be Like Water" -- first AU is that Edmund is Edwina, second AU is that the first person Lucy met in Narnia wasn't Tumnus, but the White Witch. And Lucy's trusting and naive enough that she'd probably believe whatever the White Witch told her. I mean, I haven't thought about it much beyond that -- I know how they get her back, a few years down the line (Peter gets captured by the White Witch and Lucy eventually has a crisis of conscience -- "No, you can't kill my brother! And the torture is not on!" and breaks him out; they make it back to the Narnian camp, Peter carrying Lucy the last few miles), but not really how they get to where they are.

Apparently, my superpower is coming up with AU plots at the drop of a friggin' HAT.

Again I have to tell you how awesome you are!

And who wants boring canon stories when you can come up with cool AU's?

So, Lucy is there willingly? So when Peter got captured by the witch is that when he got drowned in water?

Nobody believes anymore that this was going to be the fandom where I didn't write any AUs, do they?

Lucy's there willingly. She's also all anti-Aslan, which is kind of amusing. Actually, I'm not entirely sure what Aslan's doing in this -- I wonder if he didn't just turn the army over to Peter and flounce off without another word. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED.

*shakes head* No, that's a different situation. I don't know what that is.

We have already established that Aslan is a major drama queen.

Lucy all anti-Aslan... Hmm. That's a picture I have trouble with putting in my mind. In canon, I'm sure, if there was convents for Aslan, Lucy would totally be nun!

Huh, in this 'verse Lucy has the traitor/redemption storyline going, but we don't get Aslan on the Stone Table.

I think this Lucy becomes a born-again Aslan believer. For, uh, pretty good reason. Edwina and Susan, on the other hand? NOT SO MUCH. Peter...maybe. *waves hand* The extenuating circumstances are a little odd.
