music dump
Oct. 29th, 2008 11:04 amLast Battle AU type music, mostly; Lass and I have been throwing stuff back and forth at each other so! This will eventually probably all go up in fanmixes at some point.
One of These Days, Emmylou Harris
I'll be gone like the wayward wind one of these days
One of these days it will soon be all over cut and dry
And I won't have this urge to go all bottled up inside
One of these days I'll look back and I'll say I left in time
Cause somewhere for me I know there's peace of mind
Destiny's Gate, Tish Hinojosa
All of our life led the way to this part of the story
I should have known you'd be waiting at destiny's gate
Son of a gun, there was love, peace and power and glory
Song after song, well, it must have been written that way
Tie Me at the Crossroads, Bruce Cockburn
Looking outward see what you can see
By the time you look at something it's already history
As the echoes of our passing fade, all there is to say
Is, "you know I loved you all in my particular way"
I'll Say I'm Sorry Now, Shawn Colvin
So you can sing your song
You can get it wrong
You can kiss the rock of ages
And in your wildest dreams
You might see between
The liars and the sages
This is less Dust-related than it is our other LB AU, the Narnia/Stardust crossover. Not to say that there aren't elements of Dust in it too, but who's to say there are? There is a reason hysterical laughter greeted the announcement that the one thing I wouldn't possibly write was the Pevensies walking away from Narnia without looking back.
In other news, for some reason, I want to write something ridiculous. You, over in the corner, don't think I don't see you pointing and laughing and going, "What? Bedlam? Never!"
