The good news about no longer having a roommate: all NaNo write-ins can now be in my room. Rock on!

The good news about NaNo: Be Like Water: 4101 words in.

One notes how incredibly hard it is to switch one's mind from writing Tirian POV to writing Caspian POV. Also how hard it is to write from movie canon when one does not actually have the movie around to refer to.

The amusing news: One of my fellow Tulane WriMos declaring that she couldn't watch PC because she heard they put Susan in a more prominent role, and she hates, hates Susan and wants to bash her head in. Cue my wide eyes and, "BUT I LIKE SUSAN." "She is exactly the type of person I hate!"

Huh. I'll upload a Susan icon tomorrow.

Would you like it? Because I could, ah, hook you up.

I feel like a dealer. >.>

Oh, now that's tempting. *considers* What's the quality like? Because it's not that big of a deal; from here on out, we're pretty much out of established movieverse canon (excepting the fact that Peter is, you know, a chick); it was just the one bit where they arrive at the How, about which I remember only, "There were centaurs and cave art. Rock on!"

The quality is actually quite good, considering it was recorded off the movie screen. I think it was done with a tripod, because it's not shaky at all. A little dark, but aside from that, surprisingly good. You occasionally get someone walking in front of the camera, but if you're me, you can then yell out "down in front" and make yourself laugh.

I mean, it's not going to keep me from buying the DVD when it comes out, but...very watchable.

Something about Susan's personality in the books. I don't know her very well (although she is in fandom! she is the first person I've met who is in fandom! though she says she lurks and has little if no actual presence on the Internet), but apparently Susan's and her personality clash, or would clash in real life, and she's known people like Susan.

Susan's so demonized in the books, it's no wonder. Movie-Susan is a much more rounded character.

It's weird, I don't think I would like Susan in real life, like, if I met her and went somewhere with her, but I really like her as a *character*. I dunno. Movie!Susan drives me up a wall though.
