I need to write something happy, man, in the mainstream Warsverse.

Golden Age prompts, sometime before the momentum of the coming destruction of everything builds up to the point it's just this huge weight hanging over everybody's heads? (So, anytime before about the last few years, or even then, actually. Just. Well. Look, my brain is a weird, weird place to be. One of my major things about writing Golden Age -- and this is one of many things that's held Old Timber back -- is that I always want to keep building, building, building the fall. It's not as big a deal if I'm writing early Golden Age, like In a Dry Month, but for something like Old Timber or The White City or These Last Golden Days of Summer, it's there; it has to be. And so the happiness is kind of muted by the, "HEY KIDS THE END IS NIGH.")

Er, where was I? I got distracted by rereading my own fic.

Oh yes. Golden Age prompts! As per usual, I promise nothing.

How about something normal? Sibling banter at the breakfast table. Whining about their classes (did you have them take classes in early Golden Age?) And I second the birthday party for mr. Tumnus.

Oooh! How about Edmunds reaction to Susan's first suitor?
Edmund: "But she's only fifteen!"
Some dude, from some country: "That's prefectly normal age for girls to marry in *my* country!"
Edmund: *Explodes*

Tell me about the coronation gifts that made each of them happiest--not the big expensive stuff, but the magical or beautiful or otherwise amazing things that just made him/her light up when he/she saw it.

A "normal" day in the life of each Pevensie!
Or the royal guard! I love your guard! What do they do when some one isn't trying to kill Peter? (rare I know!)

Ooh, ooh, the one where everyone randomly starts singing!

...no? *G*

I'm pondering Peter, say, having a fall off a horse or being in some other regard injured, but not sufficiently to justify the use of Lucy's cordial, and then having to convalesce. Not for as long as in England, obviously, because it's Narnia, but still long enough to drive everyone (especially him) crazy.

OR the one where everyone randomly starts singing.
