*sigh* So over Thanksgiving break, several things happened: I became more or less nocturnal (witness: posts at 4:30 am), I didn't leave J.L. for four days (strangely awesome), and I watched a lot of Criminal Minds, House, and Prison Break.

The nocturnal thing is a problem because I have a nine o'clock class. My alarm went off at 7:30, I turned it off, went back to sleep, and woke up again at 8:32.

It takes me fifteen minutes to walk to class.

Boy, that was fun.

You know what I want that I haven't seen yet and is probably cruel and unusual? Icons/wallpapers of the compare/contrast of happy magnificent shining Cair Paravel of LWW and the utter destruction of the ruins of Cair Paravel of PC. And the Pevensies! Getting crowned, and then that moment in PC where they're standing in the ruins of their throne room.

I know, cruel and unusual, and yet. Why hasn't anyone jumped on that? It is totally a moment to jump on! I have depressing then/now icons from Star Wars, I wan't depressing then/now icons from Narnia. Or wallpapers. I realized a little while ago that my laptop screen is bigger than my old laptop screen, and now none of my wallpapers fit without looking funny. *sigh*

OMG, I agree with you about the icon/wallpaper thing. As depressing as it is, the contrast both physically and emotionally would be pretty sweet! :D

I know, wouldn't it just? Seriously, why hasn't anyone jumped on it yet? They practically give it to us on a plate! I mean, don't even wait for the movie to come out, because we got that scene in the trailers.

guh, the nocturnal thing: STORY OF MY FREAKING LIFE! i had a class this morning at ten, my alarm diddn't go off at all, and i woke up at 1:06 and had compleatly slept through all my classes. and, uh, yeah, it takes me 35 minuites to drive to class, so *sigh*. and i wasn't even on lj, i was just doing homework, that i had procrastinated, because of, uh, lj. *facepalm*

and HECK YES! to before/after narnia icons. and starwars icons *is intriuged*

I have never had that problem before. *kind of fascinated* I mean, I got up, got dressed, grabbed my books, ran out the door, made it to class well before time, but still. Never had this problem before.

Star Wars, Star Wars...I have these in my memories. Um, the specific ones I was talking about are here (http://community.livejournal.com/forestgraphics/4640.html): 6, 8, 52, 68, 96. For Obi-Wan, the most tragic character ever.

yes, apparantly i FAIL AT LIFE. but, i'm glad you made it on time.

OMG OBI-WAN. so so tragic. seriously, narnia makes me sad and depressed, but nothing hurts my heart like anakin and obi-wan do. it's like physical pain when i think about them. to this day, i can not watch those movies without bawling my freaking eyes out.

I KNOW, RIGHT? most of the time, i love being in a small fandom, but sometimes i just hate it. *sigh*

I know. Star Wars my previous fandom, and it broke my heart about ten times over (because apparently I have a thing for doomed fandoms!), and even when I wrote AU fic where Anakin didn't turn it was still heart-breaking.

Could be worse. We could be in a real small fandom.

On the other hand, we could be in HP, and that's just scary.

yeah, well, i just spent the better part of an hour emailing back and forth with my teacher, in which i was compleatly freaking out, and she was just 'calm down, al, it going to be okay. BREATHE." lol

OMG STAR WARS. i think it was my first true love. i mean, i was in the fandom before i even knew what fandom was. like, my dad was obbsessed with them, so i grew up watching the series, and then when the new ones came out, my whole family went in costume everytime. we were on the news and everything. looking back it was pretty adorable (we were all so little) and also majorly dorktastic.

but i love hp! *whines* of course, the fandom is batshit CRAZY, so...
