Yay for remembering that I'd actually named the distance between Arn Abedin and Cair Paravel in "Ere Yet We Loose the Legions"; I was going to end up killing something if I'd really had to write Peter, Tirian, and Eustace glowering at each other for six days, which is what I had it down initially as in Dust 7. It's three days ride in "Ere Yet We Loose the Legions", which Peter remarks to Eomer when he's making his decision to put up the Rohirrim for a few days.
*thoughtfully* This is going to be one of those chapters. Maybe I'm starting in the wrong place -- somewhere other than leaving Arn Abedin, I mean. Closer to Cair Paravel, where stuff actually starts happening. I've got a Peter POV and two Tirian POVs, and I switched back to Peter after the two Tirian false starts, but I'm pretty sure I do want the Tirian POV.
*sigh* This would perhaps work better if I didn't have to write a paper this weekend.
