Suddenly I desperately want the story where, for whatever reason, Edmund has to pretend to be Peter. I mean, I don't know plot or anything -- I think it takes place during the year and a half Peter is missing -- but I know it involves Edmund and Susan trying to do the diplomatic thing with someone who will only deal with the High King, and for whatever reason, they can't let him know that Peter is unavailable.
And the only image I have is Edmund standing in front of a mirror and adjusting Peter's crown, saying to himself, "I am the High King of Narnia."

"FOR NARNIAAAA," EDMUND TRIES AGAIN AND MEETS WITH THE SAME RESULT. HE SHAKES WHAT HAS SEVERAL TIMES BEEN MADE CLEAR IS NOT HIS SWORD, AND IS LIKE, "FOR FUCK'S SAKE."
HIS ENEMY IS CONFUSED FOR LONG ENOUGH FOR SUSAN TO ARROW HIM MIGHTILY.
