I suddenly want the story where Edmund walks into the backroom of a bar, sits down, and spends the next four hours talking the people there out of assassinating Peter. No weapons, no threats, he just literally talks them out of it.

And then, I mean, they're promptly all arrested, but hey! No one got hurt.

Silvertongue.

I'm sure there's a story somewhere about the time he convinced a naiad that she was really a dryad who'd been separated from her tree...

Was this in the service of getting laid?

Well, that would just be unethical. It was in the service of something, that's for sure -- wait. I think it may have been during the time he was thrown back in time to the very beginning of the Long Winter.

If he managed to get laid, that would be a fringe benefit. :)

Outsider pov! Or do it as a "legend of" story, with quotes and "they say" sprinkled throughout, fable style. Or, you know, suddenly become brilliantly eloquent. *prods you*

No fair teasing!

Or do it from Peter's POV, waiting outside the bar with half the army...and then Edmund walks out, turns the conspirators over, and raises his eyebrows. "Well, that was overkill, wasn't it?"

In order for Peter to be awesome in Dust 7 and not just panicked, he has to turn off his High King brain and turn on his Breakneck the merc/Flight Lieutenant Pevensie brain. *preens*

Which means he is crazy and manipulative and reckless.
