APPARENTLY NEW ORLEANS HAS NOT HAD SNOW FOR, LIKE, FIFTEEN YEARS OR SOMETHING.

Yes. Yes, I flee the state of Washington to avoid snow AND LOOK WHERE IT GOT ME.

Well, I guess this is a plus for the many many people I have met who have never seen snow.
