I have to stop watching all these crime shows. They're probably the reason I want to write, like, the AU where Peter and Edmund are detectives in the Cair Paravel Police Department, Susan works for the DA's office and carries a gun for some reason (or is possibly also a detective), Lucy is a PI who didn't want to go official like her brothers and sister, Caspian is the new detective who's transfered from the Telmar PD, possibly Miraz and Aslan are, like, running against each other for mayor or something...

*cough*

Eustace I can see-he's got an inquiring mind and he's not sentimental or anything. That unconventional background with his parents would work well.

Jill, I don't know. I think she'd make a good public relations person of some kind, co-ordinating the different departments with each other, and them with the bosses (be they administrative or royal, as you develop it). She's got a bright, friendly manner (that was good enough to make the giants coo over her and become friends with Eustace, no easy task, heh), is good enough at scouting and archery to be respected by fellow officers without being a threat...somebody to confide in.

Hmmm...perhaps also a member of the super secret squad who "watches the watchmen". Narnia Internal Affairs! :)
