Peter: There's a bottle of Old Bern behind volume six of The Long and Glorious History of Blessed Calormen or whatever the fuck that monstrosity's called; bring it over here, why don't you?
Edmund: How long's he been dead, Pete?
Peter: Since about ten minutes after he tried to kill me in my sleep. Seriously, bring the Old Bern over here; I need it after that.
Edmund: Raedwulf's been in Narnia for almost two years now and had plenty of opportunity to kill you before. Why now?
Peter: Fine, I'll get the damn brandy myself.
Edmund: Put some clothes on.
Peter: Who are you, Susan?
Edmund: You're the High King of Narnia, why are you hiding liquor in your room?

:snerk: though you might want to change 'liquor' to 'drink' 'alcohol' or just the name of the alcohol itself... 'liquor' means people will start thinking you mean 'liqeur' - the alcoholic syrup you get inside chocolates.

yeah, i know. Welcome to the variant of English spoken this side of the pond. Not to mention? 1940s kids. liqueur chocolates are pretty much the only time they'd come across the word.

But like I said. 'liquor' as a word woudn't have any meaning to the pevensie kids. Even these days it makes me start thinking of alcoholic chocolates.
