I have a headache -- just a little one -- and my roommate is in here with one of her friends from Loyola. I want her to go so I can just zone out.
I've had the headache for about nine hours now, by the way, on and off.
Also, I am happily pondering a Narnia/Mummy crossover (The Mummy -- the first one -- is my favorite movie ever, shortly followed by Miracle; I just watched it. *hums happily*). It would work so well. *pleased* I already have -- well, not all of the sibling relationships plotted out; one has to divide the two in The Mummy into four for the Pevensies, and make Rick a Pevensie too. (Plus, you know, Pevencest, although that's actually not necessary.) But it's not too hard to figure out; you have Peter the older brother that ran off to join the French Foreign Legion, and Susan who works in the museum and tries to be so earnest and good and still take care of her younger siblings because Peter up and left, and Lucy who comes back with the key...Lucy carefully not telling Susan that she got it from Peter, of course, because they haven't seen each other in years. And Edmund's more of an Evey character than he is a Jonathan, although he has Jonathan attributes too.
And then Susan saves Peter from being hanged. Because apparently every story I write must have Peter in prison at some point now.
I think Jadis is Imhotep. And Nikabrik may be Beni? Or maybe Tumnus, if Beni isn't such a scumbag in this incarnation. I suppose Aslan could be Ardeth Bay, but I like Ardeth. (He's not Caspian; I don't know who Caspian would be in this version. He may not be here. Or he may be one of the Americans that get themselves killed.) Perhaps Ardeth is Oreius; that works.
*pleased* Wouldn't it just be bundles of fun? Narnia and The Mummy -- two of my favorite things ever!
