...right, okay, Peter is completely mad. England drove him crazy! Aren't we glad we've figured this out? That boy wears masks like other people wear clothes, and changes them just as quickly. Does he even know who he is anymore? Really, I mean? What do you have left when all you have are masks?

Right. So Peter is COMPLETELY MAD, Edmund is SOMEWHAT MAD... what's Lucy? Why do I have the suspicion Susan's the only sane sibling anymore?

Man, Susan's nowhere near sane, just a lot more vocal about pretending. Lucy's probably the closest one to sane of the four of them; she remembers less.
